Exploring ConvertKit's Creator Network: Connecting, Growing, and Being Featured

Krystal Proffitt Season 1 Episode 887

Ready to learn about a new tool that could change your creator journey? We're delving into the fantastic world of ConvertKit's Creator Network, a feature designed to help creators like you grow and connect.

I'm sharing my personal experiences using this fantastic feature, highlighting how we've been able to recommend other creators, like Pat Flynn, Amanda McKinney, and Joe Casabona, to my email subscribers. We also delve into how exciting it is to connect with creators from various fields, from golfing to music, further enriching our journey on the platform.

Here's a particular nugget: I'm featured for the next two weeks on ConvertKit's Creator Network! Let me tell you about my interaction with Dani, ConvertKit's content person, and the thrill of being included in this diverse and resourceful network.

An unusual request to you, dedicated listeners - if you're a ConvertKit user, I'd love for you to recommend us. I'd genuinely appreciate this simple way of supporting the show while promising to keep bringing you exciting collaborations and cool projects. As always, we're here to keep things fresh, fun, and keep you going on your creative journey.

Welcome back to another episode of the Potty Report. I have something really fun to share with you. So if you are a ConvertKit user and you are part of their creator network, I have a really big favor to ask Would you mind recommending me as someone on your email newsletter list? So what you're like? Wait, crystal, you just had a bunch of things. I don't even know what that means. So let me back up. First of all, you have to be a ConvertKit user for this to work. But what they have launched is their creator network, where when someone signs up for my email list, I can recommend other people that I think you should join their email list too. So Pat Flynn is a great one. We have Amanda McKinney, who was originally on the Profit Podcast. That's how I met her. Well, I recommend her now on my newsletter. So I'll say hey, you know, go follow Pat, go follow Amanda. I also recommend Joe, who's someone I met at ConvertKit and he works with podcasters on automation and all kinds of fun things. So it's a way for you to get in front of other audiences organically on ConvertKit, and I would be so honored if you would feature me, because I actually am getting featured by ConvertKit this week. So cool.

I had Danny, who is their content person, over at ConvertKit. I met her at Craft Commerce and she reached out to me and was like hey, would you like to be featured on our creator network? I was like yes, duh, danny, yes, please, all day, every day. That would be fantastic and I wasn't really sure exactly what that meant. But if you go to, if you're a ConvertKit user, you go over to the creator network and it says recommendations. Then you, or it says like my recommendations, and you go to that page and there's like highlighted, you can see multiple people mentioned there. Well, yours truly is there, and it's really cool.

I love getting to see all these other creators that I am surrounded by. I think one of them was a golfer, somebody else was a musician, so it's just really cool to see all the different types of people that use ConvertKit. It's one of the reasons why I really love the platform. It's not just for podcasters or YouTubers or people that have businesses like it's runs the gamut for the definition of a creator and I just feel like I have the biggest smile on my face because I'm just, I'm so blessed, I'm so honored for them to have featured me and I'm grateful.

So I don't always ask a lot of things, but I thought I would reach out here and ask if you are a ConvertKit user and use the Creator Network, would you please consider having me as your recommended person on your Creator Network? All you have to do is go over to the Creator Network page, go to my recommendations, scroll through the top featured ones, find me and add me to your recommendations, and I would so appreciate it, but that's all I have for you today. So, if you're a ConvertKit user, go check it out, go see all the fun things that they have and, yeah, I'm looking forward to more stuff like this. I hope to partner with them and a lot of other really cool projects coming up in the future. Stay tuned for that. I will share more when I can, but, as always, remember, keep it fresh, keep it fun and just keep going.
